25 million people purchased destiny but only 800 thousand played trials that ought to tell you something.

PVP is broken at the moment, lag rules....if u can lag you will win the game. There is no room for honest players anymore. this game is dieing.
-
that not everybody is into competitive PVP? seriously though, what else CAN you take away from that? I didnt play ToO and thats entirely by choice, im not big into PVP. I'd LIKE to get the chaperon but i dont even have crucible rank 3! does that make me a PVP scrub that needs to git gud? well all of my flawless friends tell me i can get to lighthouse easily if i just tried, but i dont because i simply do not want to play PVP that much.

That's a pretty good number actually, only 20% of people completed a raid, so only 5 million have completed the raid. Now you factor in how many people don't have ttk and/or quit the game. Only 5% of people have completed kingsfall if memory serves me right, that's around 1.2~ million people and it has been around for months, not 4 days.

except that it's participation not completion of lighthouse...

Yeah, you're right, but I'd assume at least half the people that get a fireteam of 6 to compete in the raid finish it. I know its a bit off topic, but normal mode rewards are the same as trials rewards excluding flawless. So I'd say participating in trials is pretty much the same as completing normal mode.

meh trials is cancer.

Most of us suck at pvp is what it tells us.
-
Tells you that most players don't like PvP ;)

When world of warcraft had 11 million players and introduced the arena less then 1 million of them played that. The arena also lasted weeks not days. I have a group of friends who all play destiny. I'm the only one who does trials out of 8 of us. So it doesn't mean a thing.
