The second you disrespect a customer you lose all moral high ground

  • Telling a customer "No" and telling them "No, you fat ugly bitch" are two different things. Yet even the standard "No" tends to prompt a response as if you had insulted them. Like when you're clocked out and leaving and they try to stop you for some nonsense and you tell them you can't help them because you're off the clock *and it's against company policy to help anyone when off the clock, literally, if someone drops stuff and you help them pick it up in the store you're punished* the customer will get upset with you and you personally for saying No. I've had it happen TWICE just because they saw me doing work earlier they stop me in my plain clothes with no indication I work there.
