They are poking fun at the community, not being unprofessional. This isn't a board room meeting where we need a professional update that has no humor what so ever. They listened to the community and announced they were fixing a problem, while having a bit of fun doing it.
The amount of abuse Bungie has recieved on these forums is astronomical, of course they are more active on a forum which offers constructive criticism as opposed to the bile I see posted on these forums daily.

No its not, the trash that bungie has to put up with on these forums is unbelievable. Is the game perfect? Of course not, any constructive adult can explain why. Does it deserve the abuse it receives on these forums? Hell -blam!-ing no. Most people on here are just a bunch of entitled little fairies that talk shit about a product they continue to throw money at because they secretly enjoy it and also enjoy creating chaos on the forums.
