Reposting Liefglinde's post because of accuracy
Ultimately, they are a business, and we are the consumers. In what other industry is it acceptable for the business to speak to the consumers like that?
Speak to them like what? Make a lame joke, remind them of the license agreement they agreed to before playing, then thanking them for their suggestions? You & whomever you're quoting need to get thicker skin.
-
I think youre missing the point here. Its not about being offended, because I'm not, its about the principle. Get your head out of your ass and actually learn the industry.

You're bringing principles into a conversation about 1 joke deej made & I'm the one with my head in my ass? Deej isn't "the business". He's a community manager. He's supposed to serve as an intermediary between us & the suits that control the industry. The weekly updates are always informal. No matter what spin you put on it, you're complaining over 1 joke. Stop being overly sensitive.

Im not offended. This isnt about me. It isnt about one joke. I don't really feel like arguing a point to someone who is making it more than clear they actually don't understand.

Well you reposted a comment saying the way deej spoke was unacceptable & called it accurate, so you adopted that stance. That much is easy to understand, which is why I said you & the op need to get thicker skin, because nothing he said was unacceptable. He never called anyone out of their name, insulted their character, or cussed at them. If his joke hit the bar for unacceptable behavior to some people, they need to raise their bar.
