If you're not playing 24/7 how are u using so many weapon parts and what are you leveling up?

Weapon upgrades, it costs 15 parts to upgrade a legendary weapon and 30 for exotics. Plus another 10 parts to infuse and we all know we have to infuse multiple times for one weapon.
