Bungie has no foresight when it comes to this game. We have to tell them everything to put into this game. Whether it's finding uses for materials that anyone with half a brain can see people are going to stack up the materials as much as possible. Or if it's something as simple as being able to assign emotes to use more than one at a time. There's literally no reason that a large group of people working on this game as professionals should have to be told obvious things that need to be put in the game. This is also why they make this game one single expansion at a time because they have no idea how to make an economy that makes sense going forward
