Wrong the smaller your consumer base the more personal you have to be with them when your audience is the size of bungies you don't have time to deliver heart felt messages all the time nor will they care because such a small percentage will actually read the update as opposed to the massive amount of players actually playing the game. They have over a million people playing the game do you really think they are up at bungie trying to figure out a sweet way to tell us that a change was implemented, no they are working on a way to implement the change. If the entire forum decided to stop playing destiny bungie still wouldn't be hurt because we represent a small minority of people that actually play the game.

Are you kidding me? I agree they can't make a personal heart felt message, but they could've just as easily said something along the lines of: "we haven't felt the impact of the weapon parts shortage our self, but we know that its hurting our players so we've taken the steps to fix this problem." There is no heartfelt personalization, there is no sarcastic insult, but it delivers the exact same message without all the drama.
