Compared to the amount of absolute shit they get 24/7. Especially Deej. They have a right to take whatever tone they want. Seriously you people drag thier name through the mud on a daily basis. When they said they would be banning the ToO cheaters 90% of that post was absolute hate and disrespect. And this was something people were complaining about since Trials was released. You want respect, show respect. If it was me I would have closed down the destiny forums a long time ago.

  • You have the right to be offended but as a employee representing a company they have to curb their tone. Plenty of employers have dropped employees for speaking their minds to customers. Professionalism would surmise this.

  • Maybe in a face to face setting yes it would be more serious. But this is a forum. If he wants to be sarcastic without being rude. Then he should, it's a way to give back what he gets. Without defaming the company.

  • No jrock, professionalism is a necessary part of any communications they put out. You're completely wrong. Even when they're posting in the forums, it's their responsibility to understand that they are a reflection of their company and make posts accordingly.

  • So then please explain to me how his post was anything other than a harmless jab at the playerbase

  • It was exactly that, a jab at the player base. The player base which pays all of its bills.

Clearly not harmless seeing as this is the number one tending thread right now, it seems to me like a lot of people are upset. In business terms that's not harmless, in fact it equates to losing a lot of money.

  • Just because a lot of people either can't take a joke or took it WAY to seriously doesn't mean it's not a joke. The majority people will rain shit on deej no matter what he says

  • And then the rest of the community will give shit to those who try to say something about it, regardless of how well reasoned their thinking may be.

  • Are your thoughts actually well reasoned or are you just arguing for the sake of arguing?

  • All I'm saying is there are plenty of businesses that have employees communicate in similar threads and proxy's such as Twitter that have had to pull jabs like that due to negative feedback from their customers. I understand that some will take offense, and some will see it as a joke. Such is the delightful burden that comes with their position
