For me the biggest reason im moving on is that bungie continues to micro manage its player base. Everytime players find a comfotable way to grind they change it. I think back to the loot cave days. Sitting at skywatch popping heads in the cave and watching for the purple glow inside. If players want to grind that way, let them. Some called it cheating but really it was just a way to grind that wasnt "intentional". So what. Players are still playing your game. Plus those were the days when purple actually meant blue. This is a grinding game no argument there but at least let your player base grind however they want. Stop nerfing every way that we figure out how to marginally expedite the process. Bungie if you are actually reading this than here is some solid advice, you will not reach your 10 year goal by extending the grind. All that does is create salt. I understand that this game is a grinder but there is still a line where the grind vs rewards become unbalanced.

Loot cave was taken out because players would report others.

No. It was taken out because players would go in the cave and block the spawn. Which is a violation of the ToS. In other words, Bungie punished players that were not doing anything wrong to protect the fun police from bans which they deserved.

You summed up my feeling exactly. I hate that you finally find a way to feel like you're "beating the game" with something little and they take it away. Black spindle on the tank in sepiks and on the Archon in the nightfall, sword swinging the bridge or doing the crazy building jump/despawn before the bridge, def the loot cave(s), 3 of coins nerfs,... They kill all the little things you figure out because, God forbid, we make things a little quicker and feel like we're "winning" for a change as we run the same strike for the 67th time.
