Inappropriate? This is their website, their game, and their weekly update. They can say whatever the hell they please. You're lucky they even bother talking to us at all with as much as this community bad mouths them on their own site.

We are lucky they talk to us at all? That's a shi tty attitude to have. I was playing another game and in the forms there were people from the creative team explaining why some story elements were the way they wee and engaging with the community. It was night and day difference. It doesn't take more than a few min to reply to a few people. And it goes a long way. This game thrived the way it did based on this history of halo. If this was a new company treating people like crap making comments and putting out a crap game than you can be sure destiny would have failed much earlier

It could be taken as condescending since it's hard to convey emotion through text. This community is horrible (mostly because the majority are probably little kids that aren't old enough to comprehend respect or how to get their concerns across respectfully). I honestly think that if the community here would express their concerns and issues in a more mature way (without bad-mouthing), Bungie probably would be more obliged to address the issues in the game.

I've only ever been in the Army and never worked retail or anything like that. But It would be like me refusing to help a citizen caught in crossfire because they said "save me you mother-blam!-er"

They're main focus is to resolve issues that are severe. Network manipulation, game-breaking bugs, etc. As much as I loathe the update they did for the SC and weapon parts, in reality it's not exactly high severity.

Honestly, I disagree. Yes, people should conduct themselves in a mature manner when being negative & positive, However, the manner in which criticism is given is not something that effects the fixing of the game. Bungie know what the community thinks, and they will change things as longs as it doesn't compromise their vision of the game. So some things will change. Some things will not change, and something simply will not be able to change. The biggest problem with this community and most gaming communities is the lack of understanding and the ever growing issue of self entitlement. "We bought the game and now you must change it to the way we want it." Yeah, ok. Kiddy in a supermarket sound familiar?

I agree that there is an appropriate way to handle disagreeances. That being said, it is certainly more the responsibility of bungie to remain professional, than it is for all of the teenagers on the forums to remain professional.

I think it's the responsibility of those teenagers to stop dishing it out if they can't take it. Like, really, you can't handle some sarcasm after 1000x that is dished out towards Bungie every 15 minutes? Fools need to put their big boy pants on and learn to deal with a world that's gonna put them in their place if they act like a douche and most certainly isn't going to kiss their asses 24/7 once they leave their mommy's house

What flaws? Some brat is disrespectful to everyone he comes across but when faced with the [i]tiniest[/i] bit of sarcasm thrown his way he runs home crying about how badly he's been treated? I could care less if it's realistic or not that he mans up any time soon, it doesn't make it the fault of the other person.
