I prefer that it isn't heavily edited though. It at least gives it the sense that he's talking to us as people not just people who paid for a service. And to the original posts point about "Go ahead, start a business and whenever a customer has a problem with you or the product, tell them to -blam!- OFF" Is a bit of an exaggeration of what was actually said and more of a reflection on the readers current state of mind.
The problem is that this is completely subjective and no one is wrong, if you're offended or upset you're doing the right thing by letting it be known. Hopefully people don't complain when our weekly updates are just a bunch of bullet points with no emotion so no one's feelings are hurt.
