I never remembered anyone complaining about games in the 90s. You either liked it or you didn't. Bungie -blam!-ed up the first time they changed the game. Changing it to only appease those who complained opened up a door of hate in this community. Knowing if they fight (or in most cases, complain) hard enough they might get what they want out of this game makes people argue against others with conflicting ideas. Because obviously in some cases it would have to be one persons way or anothers. This also might be the real reason some of us just can't walk away from Destiny. It's all about hope. lol

People complained back then. The only real difference between then and now is the manner in which complaints were made. Even kids on s school playground conducted themselves with more maturity than supposed adults do today. The reason for that difference is anonymity. Back in the 90's the odds are you were talking and complaining with a real life person. Today you are doing it with a digital manifestation of ones childish persona. Just the physical presence of another human being is often enough to make people behave in a more mature manner.

You are 100% correct. When you are face to face with someone you don't belittle them if they have a different view. But the online amenity only adds fuel to the fire.
