Deej's response was fine. The fact of the matter is that only some people are having trouble with weapon parts. Even after the update, as Bungie's statistics showed (which did NOT include inactive players) the average weapon parts count per user didn't change. I myself update weapons I like regularly and across all 3 of my characters I have 1800+ weapon parts. I've been a day 1 player with nearly every exotic and I've done just about everything in Destiny at least once. I've had no issues at all. What people don't seem to understand here is that just because a problem may effect YOU or a few others you know doesn't mean Bungie has a catastrophe on their hands which needs immediate fixing. Bungie's staff has always been a bit snarky, and I see no problem with that. They gave a solution and this IS their game so of course they can modify its economy how they see fit (which they've been doing since launch). They've also modified the game in dozens of other ways which all catered to what the fans want. They do plenty. More than other developers do, especially given some of the alleged hardships they faced. If you don't feel it's adequate, go find another game to play. Nobody has to like Destiny and, contrary to what posters here think, it can't cater to everyone.
