The logic in nerfing the weapons parts made no sense whatsoever. Why on earth does his boss have 1600 parts? You can upgrade weapons, infuse weapons and you can donate a ton to a faction for rep. Hoarding them makes literally no sense whatsoever.
You know what I do when I hit 500 armour parts and i have nothing to infuse or upgrade? Faction rep. Granted it's paltry but it is still a sink for them as reputation gains are a problem. (different argument altogether)
If he has 1600 parts plus has all 3 faction exotics and every weapon and armour upgraded then he's not the benchmark you should be using to gauge the rest of the community. Seriously, we shouldn't even be having this conversation.

Hoarding them makes no sense, but burning them on weapons you aren't even using and faction rep for packages with *more* items you'll never use does?

a smart player doesnt spend them all when something new shows up~ never got into reforging weapons and i did use some to level up once but other then that still have 3000+. faction packages to me are no different then vanguard. yes you can get ship but with the bad rng all over this game just rather wait for it.
