I didn't read it as passive-aggressive, rather it read to me as stupid-embarrassed. The designers tried to slow us down in a stupid way, were called on it, and came with an equally stupid alternative. That's the stupid part. Deej was stuck reporting what the morons he works with did. That's the embarrassed part.

Because apologizing and saying they were wrong is so impossible and can't be done. This is what pisses me off about it. They could have handled this so differently, but their attitude is "-blam!- them. It doesn't matter"

I like how just from your own assumption and the way you've read it, you believe they don't give a shit. I think that's somewhat naive, considering you can't even be sure of what they're thinking whatsoever. Professionally, a disgruntled worker still has to satisfy his/her client, and off-time they probably hate an ignorant customer's guts. Anyone with a job should understand this.

I can be very sure of what they're thinking. It's not like it wasn't made incredibly obvious. It's naive to defend them after all the shit they have pulled with us. Lol. Ignorance is bliss though. They can hate me all they want during their off times, doesn't bother me at all. That's on them. During their work time (I.e. Weekly updates), making it abundantly clear, is inappropriate. Anyone with a job should understand this.

I'm not defending them. I simply find it absolutely absurd that people will throw out $60-£40 and suddenly think they have this massive right - like the game developers didn't spend 10x that amount, in both time and money. Like countless people have said, I think you're just missing the point of the comment and choosing to take it like it was meant as an insult. Multiple times have they made jabs at themselves as well, and considering the lack of a sense of priority from most of the complaints this community makes, if it was meant as a snarky response, it certainly deserved it. Also, please, keep your "ignorance is bliss" comments to yourself, when literally every comment here is all about the one person's standpoint and literally no one elses.
