I don't have a problem with him being sarcastic about the issue, but I do take issue with the proposed solution. Having to buy the extra weapon parts from the gunsmith is still needlessly increasing the time we have to play to get back to where we were before they took something away from us. It isn't fun.
They should set the rates at which we earn weapon parts back to where they were before, in addition to allowing us to buy them. As it sits now, we are still going to have to go grind glimmer to get the parts we need. Still a step backwards from where we were before.
Also while I'm on the subject, it takes entirely too many parts to level up the new weapons, especially exotics. If I already had a fully leveled year one version of a weapon, I shouldn't have to pump a bunch more parts into the year two version just for the hell of it. Once I unlocked the nodes, putting the exotic shard from the previous version into the new one should have sufficed.
Same with armor. I shouldn't have to re-grind all this crap that I already had. It's ridiculous. I look around and see all the stuff I have worked for, only to have bunjie take it all away with the next dlc. Again, not fun.

They are kind of fixing an issue they added in the first place. Apropos of the destiny experience. That's why I didn't like his tone. They are so far removed from the game, and are clueless.
