Well, I hear your points. Here's the deal: Bungie has no -blam!-ing clue what they are doing. They make a great looking shooter with pretty good mechanics. It isn't the best: at anything. They can't program the stuff they aspire to and they can't game design at the level we want. A master doesn't have to back track and apologize. They are learning as they go. I've come to terms with it. Destiny is a B+ game I toss in when I'm bored now. Too many other amazing things to do in life and other games to sweat it.
