If Aim Assist is the only thing that determines skill in Destiny, then give a player in the top 1% the Mida and someone in the top 90% the Mida (with its large Aim Assist stat), and see who wins. Based on this video, both would have an equal chance of winning due to there being no skill involved. However, if both players have the EXACT same weapon, then there is skill involved, because they have equal footing. Someone who had gun skill and understands how the game works in terms of maps, radar detection, super use, when to use particular weapons, and how to actually play the game, versus someone who doesn't, is going to win based on their experience and skill level, just like every other game. Not because of Aim Assist.

so when the players trade kills and neither player's reticule is actually on the opponents head but they are still getting 57s, what do u say to that genius.

You still have to aim near the head That takes some skill Also better players use certain walls or height to disorient opponents to gain the upper hand

I can tell by your stats that you're quite a good player. I feel like if I versed you, you would beat me. Why? Because you're probably better and more experienced at the game than I am. Going off this video, if I just pick the highest aim assist weapon, I'd probably win because it requires no skill. Not true.

Still skill involved because both players have their equal chance, Aim Assist has absolutely nothing to do with actual game skill in terms of the mechanics of the game, it just makes it easier to hit the target. It may lower the skill gap to an extent, but doesn't determine skill, genius.
