I think he was trying to be humorous. He has made a couple of these jokes before, if it hasnt tickled your nipples thn yea, obviously you got a bit offended. But I agree about the poor planning, they rushed to give us the product n forgot about things like poe, etheric light, variks, petra, patrol, wormspores etc. Has anybody gone to the reef before the trials even were available? ik I haven't.

  • For the Petra quests, I went there. Finishing her questline is how you unlock her weekly bounties for TTK.

  • Yea, I'm not sure why they were locked behind her quests in TTK.

  • It's entirely possible that Bungie isn't to blame here. Word around the net is that their original game had to be scrapped because the head honchos thought it was cliche. It's entirely possible that TK got the same treatment, or that all of their tweaks and changes resulted in bugs that needed to be addressed sooner than all of the other items. For all those year 1 vets, remember the heavy ammo bug, and how long it took them to get rid of that? Not to mention all the other bug fixes they had to go through (albeit some fixes had a more negative reaction, like Aetheon). It may seem rushed to have missed a few things (I wouldn't know, I haven't had money for TK T_T), but again, it could very well have been out of their hands, one way or another (items being bugged, dev team being rushed, etc.). I know for a fact that Trials was disabled because they wanted to balance it, and that seems to have worked out just fine. I agree entirely that Deej was trying to be humorous. People have different styles of humor. I make bad puns. My brother makes raunchy jokes. A friend of mine uses sarcasm. So what if Deej's humor comes across as snarky or passive aggressive? Do we really need to get up in arms every time we think we've been offended? And do we really need to be so offended in the first place? What does it say about the community if we snap at every bad joke that's thrown our way? Personally, I think we all need to calm down and look at this from all perspectives, as well as do some digging before we blow these things out of proportion.

  • If a bug or glitch is present its their responsibility to fix it as soon as possible. They haven't fixed the ammo glitch until ttk dropped but sure as hell they fixed the 3 of coin fairly fast because ppl were getting the exotics too fast n there went the grinding. Its their fault for siding eith activision tht butchered the game and made it be sold for a big amount of money with little merit. They have a 10 years plan? -blam!- no. They wont make it 2 more years with such poor planning.

  • For starters, programming isn't as simple as removing a fly from someone's soup. First, a bug has to be reported. Second, you have to scan every line of code to find what's causing the issue. Once you find the issue, you have to find a way to repair the code without causing more bugs or breaking other lines of code. Nerfs and buffs are as simple as changing a few number values here and there, or removing certain lines of code. I know all of this because I took a few programming classes in college (Visual Basic and C++). Also, the ammo glitch was fixed by HoW, not TK, and I can see a number of reasons why that would be hard to fix. Delete the wrong code, and you could have NO ammo counter. Add too much, and you could allow for too much ammo. The issues with the 3 of coins were probably addressed because it wasn't a bug; they simply had to change a variable. Also, excuse me? Bungie's at fault for siding with Activision? You realize that finding someone willing to take a chance on your IP isn't easy. Not to mention telling someone they're at fault for accepting a deal is like saying to someone "You have food poisoning? Well, it's your fault for eating it." Plus, in all likeliness, had they not gotten a deal with Activision, there's a very real likelihood that this game either would have been further delayed or simply shelved permanently. If you're going to make complaints like this, do some research first. You'll look more credible.
