Even there it doesn't work.
All I get is the chest armor from FWC all the time, even though I have already 3 of them in my inventory.
Looks like the "smart" loot is more like "Oh, the chest is already there 3 times, he must really like these chests, let's give him one more! Who needs Faction ships anyway!"
