I agree with most of what you're saying. It's unfortunate because this game in my opinion is the best shooter I've ever played. I enjoy logging on everyday even if it's just to do daily bounties. I would never consider myself a Bungie fanboy, but being a Halo fanboy (I buy anything Halo game wise and have read many of the books) I was truly excited when Destiny was announced. Now a year later, with 1000s of hours of gameplay I find myself wondering what's the point? I used to play 3 characters, now I've all but abandoned my titan. Why? The grind... The grind, coupled with having to so heavily rely on other players for end game content (mostly through 3rd party apps and websites) is slowly but surely killing the fun, at least for me. The last thing we as a player base needs at this time is a snarky Bungie employee talking down to us. There is and will be more gaming competition this holiday season. Now is not the time to push players away.
