Correction: I see humor because I'm open-minded and not easily offended (That isn't to say you are or aren't). And actually, I haven't been able to play the new content because I don't have money for it, which makes your "you'll throw money at the screen" comment rather ironic and funny to me :). Fun is, in itself, addictive. As a kid, you want more toys to play with because it's fun. If you like reading, you want more books because it's fun. It's especially true as an adult, when the issues of the real world largely suck the fun out of things. You play a game because it's fun. As for you, my guess is that the game isn't really fun for you anymore, and there's nothing wrong with that. But you still have reasons for playing, which either means the good outweighs the bad to you, or you're simply waiting to see if it'll get better in your eyes. Every person is capable of a degree of mental suggestion on themselves. Believe you can do something, and you're more likely to do it. Believe you can't, and you can't or won't. Believe someone is insulting you, and in your eyes, they always will. Me? I don't know Deej, what his life is like, what he's been through. I know he's a community director, and not necessarily a mouthpiece for all of Bungie. He's closer to being an emissary, or a messenger, and is free to speak his mind as well. I see what he has to say as humorous not because it's what I want to see. I do see it as humorous only because that was my first impression. If Deej wanted to insult the community, a snarky comment isn't the best way, not to mention he could get fired for doing so. Plus, if it was an insult, an apology would have been issued, either by Deej, or his replacement in the event that he was fired for it.
