I don't like it either but that's how he talks/writes. If you don't like it, don't read it or listen to it. Not a recent phenomenon, he had that tone in the Twitch TTK live streams too. Don't forget, this is a video game and we know the types of people it brings together. Whether he's a little condescending at times or sounds like Martha Stewart, I believe that he genuinely cares and likes his job. At the same time they are in a for-profit business, so they have to balance all their goals, priorities, user experience and investor expectations. I still enjoy the game, but yeah, I know what you're saying and I wouldn't be best friends with him.
