Felt the same way about it. Interesting time to put out such a week update. Especially with black ops 3 arriving and fallout 4 right around the corner. I found it interesting that they made an effort to go into the forums themselves and talk about how cheaters in trials were going to be banned, but didn't say a word about it in the first update to follow trials.
