My Eirene has the shoot to loot perk. I have a bud pick up heavy and I shoot then swap to heavy and it throws people way off.

That's just so incorrect though... The crate won't drop ammo for you if you aren't close enough to it. I think it's 25m? Maybe less.

You can't get heavy unless you're really close when it's being grabbed, in which case why would you waste a sniper bullet to pick it up? :S

So I can stay back incase whoever is picking up heavy gets wasted.

That's not how it works. You have to be within 20m of the box or no heavy drops for you.

It doesn't work like that when heavy drops you have to be close you can not be across the map And have it drop-.-
