I don't think anybody really relies on aim assist, as it is least usefull for snipers afaik. Was an extensive post about it on this forum yesterday, I think it was. You only actually 'benefit' from the scope slow down, however, to me, it seems more of an annoyance than actual benefit.

It's an annoyance for me as well which is why I like low aim assist snipers. In regards to pvp though pretty much all of the popular snipers have had high aim assist. I haven't seen the post youre speaking about but in my opinion aim assist is relied upon by some people whether they know it or not. My uzume rr4 for example gets some crazy ass head shots that i know i couldnt pull off with my eirene. And if it wasn't for uzume being low impact I'd never use another sniper. Without actual numbers I'd assume uzume has much higher aim assist considering some of the shots I've pulled off with it. I could be wrong though so if someone has insight on this let me know.
