Black ops will definitely draw people away from destiny, this I am sure has been carefully calculated by Bungie and Activision. Believe it or not companies anticipate attrition through other titles and plan accordingly. Bungie undoubtedly has a road map for content releases (not necessarily DLC), events to bring players back in after the "honeymoon" phase of black ops has run its course.

I was expecting xur to bring some of that time gated armor on Friday as a counter. Maybe after Fallout 4 drops.

Keep in mind Acti published both. It was an inevidable outcome....I personally don't care for CoD though.
