I can't be the only one who thinks the revolutionary war to be a civil war... I mean come on. It's literally Brits v Brits. You're not American.

America's greatest gift to the world; jazz. Britons greatest gift to the world: America.

Edited by MightyJonE: 11/8/2015 8:01:17 PMNobody really founded it. The continent already had an indigenous population of millions with its own rich history. It was invaded and colonised by an imperial power

America was founded by terrorists, for terrorists. What do you think the Revolutionary War was about?

Actually the Spanish first made it to South America. Then the French made it to modern day Canada. Then the British settled the East coast of North America. So..... Who founded America really depends on what part of America you're talking about

Vikings. Then the Spanish. Then the British. Neglecting of course the Russians from the side of Alaska, and the Native Americans already living there.

False. It was Illuminati.

Actually, there was plenty of French in the new world also Spain dwelled around the south in some places. Some Dutch charters also were made
-
Guys it's obvious. When we created time machines we went back and put in these giant land masses called continents but the people who did changed too much of the future and was eliminated from existence the second it happened

Edited by OurWildebeest: 11/8/2015 4:24:07 PMDespite some minor caveats (some early settlers came to America to deliberately leave British society, mainly over religious freedom issues), it is of course true that Britain founded the colonies that later became the states. Of course, they didn't found the United States, so depending what you mean by "America", there is another quibble. Much of Canada's population comes from U.S. loyalists fleeing the rebellion, BTW.
