Should Old Raids Be Relevant Again?
I'm not sure about you guys but I think VoG, CE, and PoE should make a come back. It would add a lot more choices of what raid you want to do and what raid gear you want to collect. I want to piss off Oryx even more by walking into king's fall with gear I earned from killing his son! What do you guys think? Yes? No? Maybe so? If you like the idea then smash the like button like it's that BASTARD RAHOOL!!!
Edit 1: Wow that's...that's a lot of votes. I just wanted to apologize to those who see the poll as biased, I didn't really think of how biased it looked when I made the poll, I would change it if I could but I can't edit what's on the poll...voting...thingy...so umm yeah sorry. But if it helps, you can cover the biased part with your hand...or some tape I...I guess...*Awkward silence*
Edit 2: Thank you all for your opinions and ideas! One idea that I've been seeing and have taken a liking to (Haha Taken...N-No? Not working for you?...O-ok sorry) is having the difficulty increased and having the gear drop at 280 and have weapons drop with no burns (maybe random perks too). Keep it up!

They should add a vendor that allows us to purchase relevant gear with old raid currencies. I wouldn't want to just do a level 310 light VoG and get 310 kabir armor. That would be boring. But make currencies worth more than motes of light and I'm in.

Not if they bring out some good content. The very least they could do is create a taken Crota's End, with new sub-bosses. Two taken phogoth type ogres at the bridge, A taken Alakuhl? Chasing us through the abyss.. re-skinning is so popular with Bungie that this idea has had to have come up

The old raids are relevant. The paradox mission and the mission that takes you back to CE are both within the taken king expansion. Should they just up the light level of loot and say go kill Crota again, I don't think so, it doesn't make sense. I think molding them into a new raid would be cool and would keep the story in line. Like have CE be flooded by taken who are trying to get Crotas body or something.

I just got a freaking awesome idea what if the vault was still a little bit infected that maked all the vex taken and using the powers of the vault they just remaked the Templar golgrons and Atheon with some new sweet looks and new powers like when you are in time veagence (sorry I don't know how to spell it) you will see a taken seeder killing him will give you the veagence not will only make it shorter and also get some new platforms redecorate it make it new and more thing to do in the raid add a chest or 2 in the raid

Easy fix, allow year one weapons to turn I infusable after you've put two/three etheric light in them. Then they can be infused to 310+ like year two weapons, reason to raid to get the old guns and a reason to get etheric light from POE. Would only work if they brought out a new Type of etheric light though, as I guess people have loads and wouldn't do POE. It's not perfect but better than nothing.

3 RepliesIn my opinion, Destiny was at its pinnacle during House of Wolves. Think about it. On Tuesday you had the option to do.. VoG hard & normal CE hard & normal POE 32, 34, & 35 Nightfall (with buffs) The best part is? Half of this was optional. Running the raids weren't a requirement. If you wanted top light level gear you could just play POE or Trials on the weekends. It was an option that brought a plethora of content to do. Also, every legendary and armor piece was valid thanks to ascending and Etheric Light. Nothing seemed like it was restricted or required like it does in TTK. Just my opinion.

Bring the raids up to the higher light levels and the gear with it. Okay Bungie wants people playing new things. Fine. Wouldn't even a 280-290 VoG or CE work? Then if you like the gear you can infuse them with higher gear by continuing to play the new content. It gives variety. It's win win for player and Bungie (to keep all content continually relevant).

5 RepliesYes, I'm definitely yes. But I'm worried that if we do have all raids, what does that mean for the game? Are all raids in the future going to be forever brought up? Are we going to eventually be so overwhelmed with raids that we are complaining that A, not enough time in the week to do it all so we need a longer weekly reset or B, casual players can't keep up with how many raids there are. It's something I've been contemplating lately.

Better question, why in God's name is this even a question in the first place? VoG, Prison of Elders, and Crota's End should never have been irrelevant to begin with.
