I'm not sure about you guys but I think VoG, CE, and PoE should make a come back. It would add a lot more choices of what raid you want to do and what raid gear you want to collect. I want to piss off Oryx even more by walking into king's fall with gear I earned from killing his son! What do you guys think? Yes? No? Maybe so? If you like the idea then smash the like button like it's that BASTARD RAHOOL!!!
Edit 1: Wow that's...that's a lot of votes. I just wanted to apologize to those who see the poll as biased, I didn't really think of how biased it looked when I made the poll, I would change it if I could but I can't edit what's on the poll...voting...thingy...so umm yeah sorry. But if it helps, you can cover the biased part with your hand...or some tape I...I guess...*Awkward silence*
Edit 2: Thank you all for your opinions and ideas! One idea that I've been seeing and have taken a liking to (Haha Taken...N-No? Not working for you?...O-ok sorry) is having the difficulty increased and having the gear drop at 280 and have weapons drop with no burns (maybe random perks too). Keep it up!
Edit 3: The Yeses...It's...I-It's...IT'S OVER 9000!!!! (Well I guess over 10000...AND "YESES" IS A WORD!!! Lol) Keep it up friends :)
Edit 4: Go to 52:45 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhTy5nSeWa8 coincidence!!?? I THINK NOT!!!

VoG and crota's end should come back. But PoE should never come back again. God what an awful experience. No gjallarhorn? -blam!- YOU BITCH!!
-
They really should bring them back. Up the light requirements to 290 and 310, remove all old weapons and gear and replace with brand new VoG and CE rewards. The Raids are still awesome, but new players will never experience them as hard Raids. They need a revamp and re-release.
-
Make a year 2 version of Nechrocasm and the Mythoclast for a start. I would totally go back into VOG hard for a Y2 VM.
-
Wouldn't make sense story wise

Edited by Vantitas: 11/9/2015 7:56:38 PMOne word: “Infusion”.
-
I do not understand why they don't just add 310-320 exotics as drops in the old raids. That would give people incentive to play them.
-
Yes please...just add matchmaking and tokens for light upgrades like +5 or +10 light as drops.

Edited by Dougdlux: 11/9/2015 7:46:45 PMIf they did the old raids up to current light level, those raids would only go to 300-310 gear. And only AFTER majority of the population has finished normal Oryx. The reason behind this is if you have 4 raids all giving you gear at 300-310 light level, you will be 310 within 2 weeks (8 completed raids). This would then trivialize the current newly released raid and make progressing through Hardmode that much easier. Edit: 1 day to 310 if you had 3 guardians. They want raids to last as long as they can, however, once they have run their course and served their purpose, they have to be left behind. Newton's third law. Every action has a reaction. New raid comes in, old raid goes out. It would kill the difficult aspect of raids to continuosly update the old raids to the current normal raid light level. Between expansion it might be OK. 2 months before a new expansion, releasing old content to whatever the current hardmode is set to might be OK.

We did a "Fun Run" last night in VoG. Good times.
-
Where's the one percent. . . ? 89+5+5=99?
-
I have not completed a Raid yet, but yes, they are and should be important. They should also have different light levels, scaling from a low light level to max light level, even Vault of Glass should now be challenging.

People like options
-
No. Better they focus on developing new Raid rather that polished the old raid. Let the Old stuff as is.
-
Totally make every raid thing year 2

Edited by antifail: 11/9/2015 8:49:10 PMSolution: All raids have a 300 light difficulty.(or whatever the new normal raid level final boss is, for future expansions) -This level increases to the level of the newest raid whenever a new raid drops. -At this difficulty, Raid bosses (from any raid) drop a token that you can get once per boss per week. - This token replaces normal drops but is guaranteed. (Hard raid of newest expansion also drops harrowed tokens). -Another token drops as a reward for beating all checkpoints in a raid.(no skipping to just boss fights) -completion also drops a completion token for that specific raid, harrowed completion rewards an additional harrowed token. 4 tokens per raid and 1 additional for newest raid: -VoG: Atheon, Gatekeeper, Templar, completion -CE: Crota, Deathsinger, abyss, completion -PoE: Skolas, round 4, round 2, completion -Kings Fall: Warpriest, Golgoroth, Sisters(drop removed after next raid is released), Oryx, completion (4 completion tokens) (Currently 17 raid tokens per week max) (6 harrowed tokens available per week) Vendor in the tower: -sells raid gear at a random level within 10 of current raid difficulty (currently 290-310) with random perks -has gear from all raids, and new gear is added when a new raid is released -gear costs a different amount of raid tokens depending on what armor slot and raid it is for *edited out for new harrowed token use*
-harrowed tokens can be spent to raise light of a raid piece until it hits current max level (currently 320) -1 harrowed token per 1 light level per gear piece./spoiler]reworked to more appropriate solution for leveling lots of gear
-harrowed tokens can be exchanged for 10 raid tokens, Harrowed tokens can be exchanged for a piece of common gear at 315-320 (no perks and mediocre stats) for infusing Into gear -Raid tokens can be spent to reroll an armor piece or weapon (5 per roll) -Raid specific completion tokens can be exchanged for 3 raid tokens - 5 raid specific completion tokens(not set on this number) can be exchanged for the raid exotic for that specific raid (necro for CEtokens or mytho for VoGtokens) -new content is still the best way to gear up and get tokens, but other raids are still viable for leveling (New max tokens per week, if all completion tokens and harrowed tokens are cashed in for plain tokens: 89) Vendor pricing would increase for new gear, making it harder to hoard coins and instantly level up for new raid without running it. VoG armor: -primaries(element removed) 10 tokens -secondaries 5 tokens -heavy 5 tokens -helmet 5 tokens -chest 3 tokens -arms 2 tokens -legs 2 tokens -class armor piece 1 token -Ghost(yes, they would add a ghost) 3 tokens -artifact (yes, add that too) 3 tokens -Sparrow/ship/shader 1 token each (Full set of gear: 87 tokens) Crotas End: -Helmet 10 tokens -chest 6 tokens -legs 4 tokens -arms 4 tokens -Ghost 6 tokens -Artifact 6 tokens -Primaries (no element) 20 tokens -secondaries(aside from black hammer) 10 tokens -Heavy 10 tokens -ship/shader/sparrow 1 token each (Full set of gear:161) *etc......* Kings fall: -Helmet 40 tokens -chest 24 tokens -arms 16 tokens -legs 16 tokens -Primaries 80 tokens -Secondaries 40 tokens -heavy 40 tokens -Ship/shader/sparrow 1 token each (Full set of gear: 619 tokens)

I think they should revamp all the old raids. Including the Prison of Elders, and what Variks sells, as well as what Petra sells.
-
Yes. There is absolutely no reason to not have 310-320 level VoG, Crota and PoE. Leaving them behind is the worst thing Bungie could have done with Destiny.
-
So most people seem to be frustrated at the lack of relevancy of the previous raids/rewards myself included. You might even say that your getting bored and need something fresh in the game. I have thought of a way which might keep the old gear relevant and allow us to have fun doing so. I don't think anyone has suggested this but if they have forgive me. What if, if you had ALL your VOG armor you could infuse them together to create one piece of maxed out armor for example a helmet. This helmet itself is only obtainable by having that full set of raid armor from VOG. Now if you have ALL of the crota armor you can infuse it together to create a new chest piece. Then a full collection of POE gear can give you gauntlets and full collection of Oryx gear (harrowed) can give you a pair of boots once all that armor is collected. In order to finish this infusion of armor you would need 3 relics which you obtain by completing each respective raid/activity(POE). You could also obtain this shard by trading in etheric light at a 5-1 ratio. This would keep the etheric light relevant as well. These new pieces of gear are all legendary tier, they are maxed light level and have a bad ass design. It would allow you to show off your collection and would create incentive to replay the old content and keep it relevant. The same could be said for the weapons but with their respective archetypes: example all the raid auto rifles can be infused for one new badass auto rifle. These primaries can also be elementals. What do you guys think?
-
You'd be surprised on the amount of people that still don't know how to use relic/sword let alone know the mechanics on the old raids
-
No because Destiny is shit.
-
89% of your community bungie are not happy that ttk took away 75% of our Amazing game. Who's stupid idea was that.
-
I wish I started hardcore playing right before ttk and never done them heard they were amazing but year 1 players have no interest
-
Good point, its kinda obvious, but Bungie ignores the obvious.... Like the fact they keep pushing PvP yet can't fully balance it (use a fusion rifle). I've taken many polls: about 1/3 players are leaving. Bungie is gonna be wondering why in 2 weeks I'm sure.
-
Though I agree with your point, do not creat biased polls. A simple yes or no would probably be better.
-
If they made big and Crota relevant again then I'd come back to destiny, until then im gonna be playing fallout and bo3
-
I'd be up for that, although Bungie may have had their reasons for removing elemental primaries.
