Is that how snipers bend corners? Or is it that they can simply shoot thru walls? I fancy myself pretty good at avoiding death in Crucible, despite my general inability to get kills myself, but this can get ridiculous at times.

Probably lag. Destiny is the king of latency in PvP. Other games out are getting me 30ms of lag (almost undetectable). Then there's buttonslapper Destiny at an average of 100ms plus. Since half the players have shit connection then Bungle lag compensates everyone else to hell.

I get that, but at least 1 sec after crouching and completely concealed by an obstacle is insane; unless the hit box is so large that it was still exposed. It just seems a bit unrealistic, even w/ the ever-present latency/lag.

It's mainly lag, and also sometimes the top of people's heads stick out over cover and can be popped if the sniper is at the right angle.

Well, I was around a corner behind a wall, altho I was close to the edge so he could have grazed an ear :/
