AA isn't how you think it works. Apparently a handful of people actually do know how it works, because there is this magical thing called the internet where people go do our research for us and they give us information about things we want to know, yet some people don't bother with it, and sound like dumbasses over the Internet.
Anyways, once you go and find out what AA really does, I would also like to mention here are many other snipers with higher AA than the 1000 yard stare. The reason why that is so popular is because out of all the high impact snipers, this is the easiest to get. Hereafter us a good example. It has the highest AA in game right now I'm pretty sure, why does no one complain about it? Because in trials and in game, people don't use it. Why? Because something like that is harder to obtain. It also takes away the exotic slot, my point is, many other snipers have higher AA yet no on talks about it because it's not being used. Only reason why the 1000 yard stare is being pointed out is because it is the most used sniper along with the fact that AA is looked down upon, which is usually the obvious answer to something that isn't working right.

Nice explanation. You are wrong about your Hearafter theory though. People don't use it in trials because it does not res snipe. I use the 1000 tears because i love the scope i got on it and it is a high impact sniper. Shame it can't 1 shot head shot sun breakers like the spindle can

Exactly this. In Trials you want to be able to shoot off a revive. So that leaves 1000K Stare, Stillpiercer (only Hunters), Spindle and Eirene. Any I forgot? Of those snipers, 1000K and Stillpiercer have the best scopes for me. I have used both, but my 1000K has better perks, so I generally go with that one. All the aim assist posts are pathetic. If they reduce the AA for all snipers to 20%, those whiners will still get rekt in PvP. Again, pathetic.

Hey, you don't believe me, test it for yourself. Go on YouTube, and you will find a shit load of videos about. Planet destiny had also made multiple videos regarding AA in this game, they even talked to one of the Devs. One of the Devs themselves have briefly talked about how AA works on all the types of weapon.

That sticky aim assist helps with tracking moving targets. Which is what you'll. Be shooting at most of the time.

Yes, that is what is suppose to do. It's suppose to help you aim at your target by slowing down your reticle. It [b]doesn't[/b] however bend your bullets. Bending bullets in destiny does exist and does exist on snipers, but the bend literally is only a matter of pixels from your reticle to the targets head for it to be able to bend. Primaries and specifically machine guns Abe extremely noticeable bullet bends. That is a whole different stay and isn't what AA is.

Excellent points. Also if and when 1000yd stare is nerfed, they will just complain about whatever the next weapon in line is. It will never end until all weapons are removed from PvP, then there will be tears about OP melee. It's all quite silly
