Edit: Thanks guys, I get that I spelled guaranteed wrong I've fixed it now...
I know this has been happening from the beginning of trials and I'm SURE it's very lucrative with some people 'charging' upwards of $120 or more to carry total scrubs to the lighthouse (I was watching a stream where I'm surprised the guy being carried could even complete PvE content, he was charging $80 per card and some unknown higher amount if you wanted insurance just in case you had to wipe a card once which would be another $80 without that extra amount up front).
I'm torn on this issue, people have been making money or benefiting from the inadequacies of people that can't do something from the beginning of time. But, this 'service' they are providing kind of seems wrong to me.
What are all of you fine guardian's opinions? Please elude without incriminating yourself if you are someone that gets paid upwards of $800-$1,600 per week (split between the two carrying the nubs). If they only charge $80 and on average a trials run without wipe takes an hour that would be the same as someone making roughly $84,000 if it is an equal split between the two doing the carrying and that is what they did 40 hours a week (Trials lasts for roughly 96 hours; so, if there is a steady flow of individuals that are desperate to go to the light house you could make the bi-weekly wage of an upper-middle income individual in just one trials weekend...)

Pretty sure I beat two carry trams yesterday. 2 players were 294 w/ whit gear and only one went flawless and was pretty good. We stomped them. Hope they didn't pay to get thier ass beat hahahah

Triple wreck, krafty, watts, nkuch, gernader Jake, lucky and buttwipe all do it for free and I can name more
-
Bungie can't do anything about this, what are they gonna do? ban them? They aren't cheating or harming the game in any way
-
That's wrong. I personally have never done Trials (#WeekendWarrior) as my light level is somewhat mediocre. But I have a great group of friends I can do it with once I get to light level 290 and paying for something you can just as easily find on the forums or in a clan is bullshit.
-
Don't care at all.
-
its quite silly to pay $80 for an emblem and one weapon thats no different to the ones that drop from the bounty. its not really worth going flawless unless ypu like the fun and challenge of it. there really nothing to gain by it at all.
-
Who. Cares. There is nothing bungie can do about it and it doesn't affect you. Why do you care? Mind your own business. Worry about yourself. People that are up in arms about stuff that has zero negative impact on them or others are morons.
-
Remember people selling oracles and atheon checkpoints?
-
As soon as you see or hear about it report them to Bungie and/or PSN/Xbox Live. It is illegal to do.
-
To the people that voted, "who cares." I take it you're the same people that are against pay to win microtransactions. Yet, this is literally paying to win. These forums just need to burn down entirely at this point.

Haha reminds me of when people used to buy rank 50 accounts in Halo.
-
The fact people would pay to go flawless and MAYBE get something good is just rediculous me and my friends went flawless once. It was near the end of trials before it left we could never do it. Then on the last day we went flawless didn't even use the mercy too. You just gotta keep trying until you do it. I'm gonna guess most of the people who pay have done it once and didn't do very good on one card so they just lost hope.

I'm a mechanic, I fix cars all day. One thing I learned, is that you can't fix stupid.
-
Lol. Just learnt something fun for grieving these cash for carry streamers - if you pay by debit card you can instantly claim it back. Time to set up troll.school
-
It should be once you go flawless, you can keep playing to make it hell for other people but you and anyone else in your fireteam gets no rewards lol
-
I think it's disgusting to charge people money for this kind of thing. I always get it was so much more satisfying to genuinely help someone rather than profit from it. That being said everyone is different and if people are willing to pay, there will be a market for it. As long as they are not cheating, who are we to say anything.
-
Dude, if someone is desperate enough to pay an extra amount of money, especially a beyond ridiculous $80, for crappy gear and something that is really not that important in the grand scheme of things, there isn't anything you can share with them that will make them change their minds.
-
I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to see the Lighthouse someday. I wouldn't pay a dollar.
-
it should be the money after they go flawless. however i dont need money to go flawless i have a good team
-
80$ per run? After 74 carries I received 10$ lmao, I must change something hahaha
-
I've never asked for money for helping with flawless. Haven't met people that have charged for flawless. You guys that pay are looking in the wrong places.
-
If you're that good, fair play to you. If you're that rich and unwilling to grab a team, fair play. You have fun. Just don't brag flawless using it to join other groups / raids etc you only paid for loot.
-
Bungie call Sony to crack the Destiny elite site n twicth streamer players
-
If someone will pay for a service, flawless in this case, and pay more than the original game was worth, they clearly are not very smart. But that's their own deal. If they want to spend exorbitant amounts for a chance at loot, let em do it. Lord knows I won't.
-
If you're that desperate to go flawless and actually pay someone, then you're the bigger idiot than those charging for it.
