The game has always been designed to toy with your behavioral psychology. It has the same elements that addicted gamblers are very familiar with. Bungie knows this... and to then implement microtransactions to your addicted consumer is very cold and greedy. I, myself keep coming back and wonder why. Is it the fun? Is it the sense of frustration I get? Is it the rewards?
