We have seperate views that extend past a competition in the Crucible. When Dead Orbit steals our resources, we cannot simply leave it as a friendly competition. We must punish them. In some other ways, such as the story of the Concordant, they tried to take control of the City for themselves. When that happened, it fell to New Monarchy to stop them.
