NOTE: This is an entirely theoretical post, before some of you call it OP and demand I nerf it, just know I haven't even posted how much damage any of the abilities do due to this posts conceptual nature.
This is an idea for the creation of a Fallen themed class for our Guardians. The class is only selectable if you choose your Race as Eliksni (Fallen), while also being the only available class to Eliksni.
I was thinking the name of the new class would be either Risen, or Redeemed. (Whereas the enemy Eliksni's are still known as Fallen)
Their class items would be called Capes. They'd be stylistic similar to Hunter cloaks, but minus the hood. Due to Eliksni having four arms, their extra arms will be part of their hit box, unless they have the Docked perk (see below) equipped. To account for their larger hit box, they will have slightly more base health.

EDIT: some minor balancing changes are on its way. Please check back later if you'd like. If there's anything you think should change, don't be afraid to point it out.
PRIVATEER EDIT: decreased starting amount of shots for Scorch Cannon from 5 to 3. Added a note regarding the lack of bonus armor while super is active.

Awesome idea, but now the traveller doesnt favour fallen anymore right? He betrayed them or something?? Nevertheless bump
-
Wow u put thought into this!!! Bump for later

That's some impressive work. Very original and very Fallen-themed. I'd love to see it in the game (personally, I love Fallen stuff). Except some perks here and there, I think all the subclasses are pretty well balanced. Some of the perks are a lot stronger than the current subclasses', I would suggest a slight revision with a few nerfs. As I said, balanced overall. Very well done, congrats. Hope you appreciate the feedback. :)
-
I like this, archon subclass sounds cool af. Other subclasses need a bit of refinement but great job otherwise.
-
Wow, the subclasses you came up with are brilliant
-
You have no idea how long I've waited for something like this, even if it is just a suggestion.
-
That'd be pretty cool
-
good idea but they would have to make another character slot as i am not deleting one of my characters just to try out 3 new sub-classes when i have the other 3 maxed out.
-
Awesome idea! Maybe along with the addition of this, some fallen house will become allies with us
-
As much as this is fantastic, BUNGIE won't put it into action. They still want to keep the Magical Three of Titan, Hunter, Warlock, and will probably leave this for the foreseeable future. However, perhaps they will use this when Destiny 2 releases. Sorry to be a killjoy.
-
I love it
-
This must have took a lot of time to think of. Osiris gives his bump blessings. Trialsofosir-BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMP-is
-
Great Idea, some perks are supppper overpowered but with some balancing it'll be great
-
not too sure on some of the perks but id definitely like to see fallen become guardians
-
Great idea man. You obviously put a lot of time into this and it would be awsome to see you rewarded. I was thinking they could do a new subclass for every character that is enemy based. The Titan can have a Cabal type subclass, warlock can have a hive type subclass and the hunter can have a Vex type. That would be cool. And the can make subclass specific armour that you can only wear wile using that subclass. So many ideas.

boku wa kirai desu (i don't like this)

Edited by Strongbad: 11/10/2015 5:46:16 AMMeh no, sounds like sunbreaker, defender, and bladedancer
-
Too major
-
What about they can only be used against minions of the darkness? I can already see the forums exploding with, "Fallen Class to OP, pls remove, 3hard5me3kill"
-
Edited by TabeticTerror1: 11/10/2015 5:39:47 AMThis is an amazing idea I hope bungie listens to this * thinks about messaging someone at bungie * my mission is complete.
-
Um yes pls
-
Shock Katana
-
Nice idea dude
-
Would love it as a new class in Destiny 2.
-
Given our similar histories and loose alliances with some Fallen like Variks, I would absolutely LOVE to see them become playable in Destiny 2~5. There's so much potential for interesting plot and character interaction, plus it'd be kinda neat if you can jump on walls :D
