I also realized something else: This game is purely for statistics. Something for Bungie to say we have people playing our crap game. Remember how it started out? People would play everyday, getting leveled up, doing strikes, beating Vault of Glass. Then as people hit the wall because of the lack of content, Tuesday the reset day became the only day Destiny was played for most people and Friday it was visited for Xur purchases. It became like this for the proceeding DLC. Bungie looked at statistics- "uh oh look people aren't playing our game everyday". Introduce Trials of Osiris- keep people playing from weekend to reset. "Hmmm they're not playing other days". Remember the quote "we're taking away the buff from the nightfall because we didn't want players to *feel* like they had to get it done first"? Yep, B.S statement to make grinding longer to make you play longer. Introduce armsday and daily mission exotics, and *boom!* lazy fix to provide statistics that people play everyday.
This game is not a game, it is a test.
