What difficulty are you playing on? If it is survival, how hard is it?

This is my first fallout game, didn't even give the others a try, so running on normal my first play through so I can learn all the mechanics and fastest ways of doing things. My brother is on survival and just hit lvl 31

Not crazy hard, but I'm definitely running into groups of wildlife that wrecks me.

I've been playing on normal, can't imagine how hard survival is.

Yeah, it seems like this Fallout is much more difficult than previous entries.
