Seeing as Fallout 4 has just just come out, loving it btw, I was thinking...
What if they made a fallout movie???
Imagine watching a high budget action film filled with power suits, deathclaws, lasers, everything that fallout has. But on the big screen. So what do you think, would it make a good movie, or would it fail horribly?
-
That beginning cut scene made it look like it.
-
I don't think so. Fallouts all about exploring and doing all sorts of random stuff. The word random doesn't mix well with movie
-
If it was a movie on it's own first, yes. But almost every movie made after game (and vice versa) is really bad.
-
How would they capture the atmosphere of Fallout? The feeling of wandering the wasteland with the music isn't exactly something people want to watch
-
Maybe a tv show or something set just after the bombs drop
-
They would ruin it. Points of reference. Super Mario bros: The Movie Resident evil: 1,2,3 Tomb raider: The Movie
-
I've never played it.
-
There is, it's called mad max
-
Deathclaw jumpscares
-
The time limit would be too short
-
FUN FACT: Bethesda has said that the Fallout franchise was inspired by a movie called "The Boy And His Dog". The movie was about a boy and his pet traveling together in a post nuclear wasteland where they meet all kinds of characters and even find a fallout shelter deep underground full of weird people who haven't been affected by the nuclear wastes. Spoiler alert: The movie sucked.

war. War never changes Better than some games, but still no
-
*puts on an antic disposition* From what I've been told about the story (a lot) yes. But I haven't actually played the games so I went with the default answer of yes but they'd probably -blam!- up.
-
Yes. Yes it would.

Fallout 4 tv show

There's been lots of game franchises so far that should've made for good movies, but they've sucked. Don't let another franchise be stuck with the negative stigma of a crappy movie.
-
The Road was a good movie, so a film based on Fallout's setting and lore has potential.
-
As long as it isn't by Michael Bay.

Where is the "HELL YEA" Option?
