Location: Rogue Asteroid, near Cyprus's AO
A short burst of radio static comes across the public channels of the Cyprus, before the signal stabilizes and a distress beacon begins playing its recording.
'This distress beacon has been activated by Captain [Robert Atkinson] of the Freighter Integrity, the location of this distress beacon will be piggybacked on this recording.'
After a short check, the coordinates of the distress beacon are decoded by the Cyprus's bridge crew, and passed off to anyone willing to search for survivors.

-
"I'm on my way." Python jogs off towards the hangar and gets in a gunship, taking off towards the asteroid.
-
After a short trip, the crashed freighter comes into viewing distance. Snapped in half in the crash, the ship has landed on its side, and a small shuttle hanger is stuck half-open. Otherwise, all the airlocks and bay doors are sealed.
-
Python flies into the hanger bay and gets out of the gunship, pulling his huge pistol.
-
Cargo is strewn around all over the hanger, and several dead crew members have followed suit. All of the internal doors are welded shut, save for one near the hanger control area.
-
He heads there, hunched over his pistol as he walks. His feet make metal clanks each time they make contact with the ground.
-
The control area is somewhat organized, compared to the hanger. A set of armor stands in the corner of the room, and several boxes of supplies sit in the center of the room. Besides these few items, no signs of life are visible, aside from the dead crewman by the door. His chest is torn open, and a 20mm slug is visible in the bulkhead behind him.
-
"Holy shit...." He checks his pistol again, quickly searching the room.
-
After a quick scan of the room, you find a shell casing and a small knife, sized for a normal humans hands. The set of armor remains where it is, but it is inhumanly large, as well as the weapons mag-clamped to it.
-
He walks up to the armor. "Big dude." Python still towered over it, but it was large for a human.
-
The lenses of the helmet snap on, and glow a dull red. After a quiet moment, the arm of the suit rockets forward and knocks you back into the center of the room. After pulling its arm back, the figure in the armor opens up its external speakers, and speaks. 'And you are?'
-
"I'm Python, here about the distress signal." He keeps the huge pistol aimed at the armor.
-
The man stands down, and stays at ease. 'Its about time someone showed up, I've been stuck out here for six months.'
-
"Yeah we were in the area and I was on patrol." He holsters his gun and looks around. "Who are you? And these guys?"
-
'Them? Well, they were civilians.' He flexes his hands, and walks over to the door. 'I killed that one because he tried to steal my gear. Unfortunately, he was the only one lucky enough to survive the impact other than me.'
-
He nods. "It's understandable. Let's get going." Python turns to the door and starts walking.
-
'Fine by me, I'd rather not be stuck here.' He steps through the door, and follows. 'So what exactly were you doing out here, you a scrapper?'
-
He shakes his head. "Galactic Federation fireteam Cyprus. We basically do the work that the Feds don't want to do so their reputation doesn't look bad."

-
The gunship's door opens and Python steps on, climbing into the pilot seat. "It cool if I take you to my carrier?"
-
'May as well, its not like i can walk somewhere.' He boards, and sits as far back as his backpack will allow. 'Is your group looking for Fixers?'
-
"What do you mean 'fixer' like, mechanic?" The gunship lifts off and takes out of the hanger bay.
-
'Well, I've got a mind for machines, but i was talking about the other kind of Fixer. One who solves people problems.'
-
"A moral compass, yes. A problem solver, probably."
-
'Well, you saw what happened in that control room. I solve problems violently, its what i do best.'
-
"I'm the same way." The ship lands in the hanger as Python stands. "You can stick around if you want."
