I'm not too sure, but I think it could be based off medals you obtained during the game, getting medals that are worth more would increase rating.
I [b]think[/b] getting less medals than you usually get would decrease your combat score, since the medals already reflect how you get kills.
Bungie pls explain.

That would be interesting. I sure wish someone could explain exactly how it works. And if medals do have a factor it would be nice to know which medals had what kind of score.
