Good job on explaining the internet. So which wikipedia do you use? I believe everything i read and see on the internet. Did you know that aliens built the pyramids and the white house? Hey, you don't believe me, test it for yourself. Go on YouTube, and you will find a shit load of videos about. Planet destiny had also made multiple videos regarding AA in this game, they even talked to one of the Devs. One of the Devs themselves have briefly talked about how AA works on all the types of weapon.
