I just had an idea going off of your post that seems much more like something bungie would do. The hunters learn new subclasses from the fallen, the warlocks from the vex/hive (hive magic bruh), and the titans from the cabal. This seems like something bungie would do more so then add whole new classes because people would already have tons of hours put into the characters that they have and you could get them through quests with the associated races.

I think if Bungie noticed enough players putting down their controllers, or switching games, they'd be motivated to do a radical overhaul like some of these suggestions. If I were burnt out on a game/my characters, a new subclass wouldn't be enough to win me back. But, entire new characters? That might be a different story.

That would be really cool, we could have more Enemy race NPC's like Variks who help equip us and eventually teach us a new subclass according to what class we are. They could introduce new social spaces, one for Hunters one for Warlocks and one for Titans. The hunters would get like a fallen ketch to explore maybe Variks brings back the house of Judgement and starts recruiting and teaching hunters the ways of fallen. The warlocks could get an expanded version of the lighthouse on Mercury with reformed vex and disciples of Osiris where they get new vex gear and a new subclass. And then maybe a new social zone on Phobos opens up for Titans to meet with a faction of cabal that split off from the empire.
