Why are they giving you shit about your shoes? Brand? Or are they just kind of different? I -blam!-ing love shoes, I can't picture a world where I make fun of somebody else's choice of shoes because it sucks when people do it to me (specifically a pair of pink and green Nikes, which were admittedly a bit feminine, but I like all kinds of different shit haha). As for fallout, don't worry about that one. You can play it by yourself and just sit in a Skype call/party chat with them if you want to talk to them, but it's just a video game, don't get too down if somebody doesn't share the exact same taste as you.
