The Covenant vs The Burning Legion
This idea just came to me recently, so I wanted to put it on the forums and see what people think. For those of you who don't know what the Burning Legion is (which is understandable) click [url=http://wow.gamepedia.com/Burning_Legion]here[/url]. And please say why. Personally I vote the Covenant because they have a fleet, look it at this way: over 150 Covenant ships were there during the war on Reach. And that was only a small portion, the Legion does have an edge in numbers. Count the grains of sand on a beach and you'll have a rough idea on how many demons are in the Legion. Sargeras is really the Covenant's only problem, Mannoroth is gonna get rekt by the Covenant cruisers. So those are my thoughts.

He eats sardines, is a prinny instructor, is a vampire, can simply become immune to all disease just because he is strong willed, and can even deny a god and his unstoppable power simply by saying oh no you don't. And he stops the unstoppable. Heck take the whole disgaea universe. Nothing from any other universe can defeat anything from the disgaea universe once they are fully powered. Everything has the power to destroy a galaxy like nothing, fist fighters blow up the whole universe, they fight and deny gods on a daily basis, and I mean gods powerful enough to simply erase you from existance and have infinite power. Yeah they beat those gods. Heck. Not even superman would last against them. They would destroy superman in one shot. And not even notice he was an actual opponent.

1 ReplyI would love to see this fight go down. In all honesty though I am not 100% sure who would win, if it is just troop skirmishes maybe legion, but the full might of both armies I would go with covenant. This would be an awesome game or story.

They have melee weapons but ranged demonic powers Covenant are a mixed coalition of races with plasma weaponry and space travel As much as I love WoW, this goes to Halo

Honestly, from what that said about the legions, I'd say the covenant. The legion apparently was prevented from destroying more worlds. The covenant wouldn't have been stopped if master chief hadn't been involved, meaning that the covenant can probably destroy the legion more efficiently. All they have to do is sit in orbit and glass everyone... [spoiler]Or the arbiter could pull some kung-fu on the legion's ass.[/spoiler]

1 ReplyBurning legion. They're demons first of all, and they use magic, something the covenant have no use or concept of, but the legion can build machines of mass destruction (I'm looking at you fel reaver). Been a while since I played WoW but the burning legion is a force to be reckoned with.
