According to kotaku the taken king was supposed to come with Europa. I'd imagine it to be something like Tao volantis from dead space 3. A barren ice world. There is even concept art.

There's official Bungie concept art of Europa lingering around if you search for it. One of neptunes moons, a frozen planet. There was also supposed to be the European Dead Zone included in the story line. I believe MoreConsole had the info on his channel. -
