You can't blame people for wanting to get a Raid done quickly......
By your argument, I could say that not everyone has the time to spend grinding the Raid......

I always thought they point of the raid - like the rest of the game - was the raid itself. The gameplay. Not the drops. In that case, isn't getting through the raid as quick as possible counterintuitive? It'd be like going to Disneyland and making all the rides only last 2 minutes so you can go on them all. At the end of the day you can say you've been on all the rides, but did you really experience any of them?

It depends what people want to get out of the game to be honest. I've done the raid several times for enjoyment, but I'd also like to get the rewards, increase my light level and give hard mode a go.

That's flawed logic. He wants Disney land without any lines. ToM is a fast pass, while not having it can result in several wipes.

Wrong. My analogy is more apt. Your version would be like having matchmaking in the raid - allowing to access to the ride sooner. In this instance they want the ride to finish quickly, just so they can say they've been on the ride. They don't experience any of the thrill, the rush. In the raid they completely miss the challenge, the strategy, the gameplay. They're chasing a trophy, not an experience. Destiny is an experience, not a vending machine. This is what's wrong with our community.

Either way fallacy of analogy I have fun completing a raid. Should I get good drops along the way that's icing on the cake. I have more fun not wiping. Which having ToM makes a bit easier.

You can experience the thrill of the raid AND complete it in good time. I enjoy killing Oryx, it doesn't mean I need to try it 5 times before I complete it.

Not exactly anonpig The point i am making is about a gun everyone requires. This could be about spindle, it was about gally. The point is there shouldn't be any gun that allows you rush through the raid. It kind of ruins it for me. Isn't this why bungie took away or elemental primaries? Took away or black hammer? I find the whole thing quite hilarious.
hence #satire
