Look at what happens when you have a gun fee country. If they had guns 10 would be dead AT MOST!! this is sickening, ISIS even told that they will attack via immigration, Europe has been fretting shit tons of Muslim immigration and look what just happened, an organized ISIS attack on places where they knew they would meet hardly any resistance.

 • So americans can just waltz into theaters cafes and parks carrying lethal weapons? I could just go into your house with a 44 magnum and be totally in my rights? You do know that if the civilians engaged the terrorists they would just kill more hostages and target more buildings or the civilians like you would accidentally shoot your neighbours

 • There are things called open carry laws, some states have them. You also need a permit to carry them. Dont know the kind of side arms you can carry but i doubt you could carry a 44 magnum around.

 • Yes but is france run like america? No. Civilians carrying guns would increase the death toll and aggravate the situation further last thing the french army needs is trigger happy civilians shooting armed terrorists and creating confusion ib the situation as the terrorists will be dressed like civvies

 • You don't understand the gravity of the situation. Even the police didnt have guns, they had to sit and hide and call the SWAT team to take care of things while innocent lives were being lost..

 • And while you tell me Hurr durr oi dunt endurstend thar grevitey uv thar sitchiayshun I have been in a situation were there were armed civvies which is why im against it, an area near the west brom football ground is overrun with gangs and frequent shootings my aunt happens to live there and before it became a serious issue I was walking home from there and saw a hooded man pull out a small gun and wave it around swearing and acting really scary shouting what what at a group of teens before armed police came.

 • Guns are illegal in England though unless you have a special license. I'm assuming you're from there because you mentioned West Brom. From my time living in America, nobody has gone flaunting their gun in public.

 • Yes and how many more lives would have been lost with 100+ armed civilians opening fire? Knowing how to point and shoot and knowing how to handle a gun are 2 different things the situation would have gone out of control and the streets would have become a warzone. You are all panicking and making up bullshit hair brained theories to desperately try and explain to yourselfs whats going on this in fact makes it worse. Dont try and tell me I don't understand the situation im not panicking all over bnet spreading rumours and saying to arm civilians. I agree however that armed police response was an issue. Perhaps now all countries will take the issue of arming police up again
