This is why U.S citizens can, and do own guns. And to those pro gun control just keep in mind that guns are very heavily restricted in France for civilians. I'm not in no way blaming France. I am saying that this is exactly the reason citizens need guns. Texas has, something like 2nd or third least amount of gun restrictions in America, and do you see any attacks there? This is also why the U.S should not allow 10,000 syrian refugees in.
Hop on that down vote and come back when you're over your emotions.
Stay strong France.
Sincerly,
An American
Edit: I don't have an agenda. My prayers go out to France, but we need to keep level heads and realize further gun restrictions are not helping. Hell I'm waiting on Obama to push his agenda on gun control. Remember after Sandy Hook?

Edited by Britton: 11/14/2015 8:29:46 PM1) a purposefully organized attack won't be stopped by any laws. That doesn't mean we don't need laws. Example: Safe outdoor burning guidelines are designed to reduce the number of unwanted wildfires. Will it stop arsonists? No. But that doesn't mean the laws don't help. 2) its a shitty thing to do to piggy back a political agenda off an emotionally charged tragedy by spinning it. 3) if you for one second think civilians who concealed carry would be able to meaningfully stop a massive terrorist attack you're delusional. Law enforcement wouldn't be able to quickly identify friend from foe, which would probably result in more innocent life lost. 4) carrying a gun for personal protection is just for that. In these types of events the best way to protect yourself and those you love is to get yourself and them out of the area.
