[spoiler]As this is a villian chapter, it will be slightly more gruesome than most. Don't say I didn't try to warn ya.[/spoiler] The Awoken Guards gathered around there respected positions near the locked bay doors. They awaited orders from Petra who was in a command center, along with two other Crows and two Vandals, watching the video feed. She hadn't seen site of the thing called 'Tae Ken' for a short time now and she was beginning to worry as she scrolled through the possible feeds to get a view. Soon the swift doors of the center opened as Variks hobbled in, bleeding and looking in great pain. The Vandals quickly came over to help but he waved them away and collapsed in a chair. "Variks are you alright?" Said Petra as she barely glimpsed up from the feed. "Yes yesss. I fine. However I fear for this plan. This one is... cunning... and possesses the Light as..." "What did you say?" Inquired one of the Crows. "Are you saying that this is a Guardian?!" "Was Guardian yesss. Now, no. This isn't the Great Machine's Light. Much more akin to Oryx and his band of... creaturesss." "A Taken Guardian?... This isn't good." Said the Crow. The Vandals treated Variks wounds swiftly and gave his ether an extra spike. His breathing deepened slightly before evening out again. "We must be cautious. Tae Ken will try to escape or worsse... kill everything." "Hang on... Is the ship?... Oh no!" Petra barked into the comms. "All Guards immediately enter! He had taken command of a ship! Crows prepare for immediate take down if that thing gets out!" "Or... both..." Variks said in silent regard. The Awoken guards burst through the door and fired at the now green humming ship just as it snapped from its locked position and hovered in place. It's cannons roared to life, mowing down the Awoken and a section of the force field, which lead outside. The Taken ship quickly jetted out and into the vacuum of space, followed by the bodies of his victims. Several Awoken attack ships immediately converged on the ship and tried to strike it down. It simply seemed to phase in and out of reality as it twitched and glitched to new positions but keeping it's main course, going around the Vestian Outpost. "This is Crow 4! We can't hit the b******! He is moving way to fast, it isn't even possible!" "Crow 4, this is Petra. I don't care if it seems, just shoot him down! We are depending on it!" "Roger... All Crows fall in and attack him with all you got!" The fighters continued to try and hit the ship, using all their prowess and skill, to no end. Suddenly the ship ended up behind one of the fighters and gunned it down. "Vestian this is Crow 4! One fighter down!" Another explosion caused his ship to veer off course. "Two fighters down! I've lost sight of the target. I..." "Get moving! We don't have time for this!" Barked Petra. The fighter quickly steered back and tried to quickly find the enemy. He soon was greeted running straight into his ship with Tae Ken standing on top somehow. He waves and shot a sickly green arrow. It tethered to his ship and the fighters and glitched past it, tugging the fighter along backwards. "No you dont." The fighter drew out maximum speed as did Tae Ken's ship. The wrestled for control until a message popped up on the Crows display. "Caution. Enemy warp drive has become active." Petra's voice screamed over the comms. "Get untethered! That will rip you to shreads!" The Crow panicked slightly and activated his warp drive and fired just as Tae Ken did. The two just froze in time as the tether held strong. "What are you doing?! That isn't going to help!" "I'm trying!" Barked back the Crow as it piloted it's ship down slightly. Tae Ken's leaned up in response. "Alright... if I can just aim for that asteroid..." The Crow was about to cut his drive when it dawned on him that he was facing the Outpost, near the residential district. He tried to shut the drive off as the tether fades into the oblivion and the two ships parted ways. The massive explosion rocked the Outpost violently as the fighter went sailing into it, causing massive amounts of damage. One of the Crows looked at the report on his pad. "We are losing hundreds as we speak!!" He barked in the comms. "Reroute all available ships to contain the eruption! We must stop this quickly!" Petra froze in shock. "We lost him..." Variks spoke in Fallen language to his Vandals and quickly shooed them out to assist. He then looked at Petra and spoke in English. "Petra, no time for fear. We must act... now. Or more will die." Petra nodded quickly. "Variks you stay here and keep everyone in check. Crows, follow me to assist in damage, I want this contained within ten minutes or else." She quickly walked out the door with the Crows and it slamed shut. Variks stood and hobbled over to the console to look at the report. He snarled in disgust and banged his staff on the floor. "Clever... Clever... Creature..." Variks switched over to the last know signal of the ship, which was sensed near the rings of Saturn, around the Dreadnought. Variks pulled in a call to the Tower. "Urgent message from the Reef, Vestian Outpost. Colateral damage to hull, many lost, many dead. Variks the Loyal and Petra of the Queensss Wrath demand assistance. We need help as soon as you can provide it." He waited several moments as a female voice appeared. "This is Ikora Rey, Vanguard Representative for the Warlocks. Your request has been granted and aid will come immediatly but only in small numbers till we can coordinate more." Variks said his thanks and cut the signal off. He gripped his staff. "Tae Ken...
